Care & Maintenance for Wooden Charcuterie Boards, Cutting Boards & Trays

 Everyday Care

  • Hand‑wash only with mild soap and warm water; never soak.

  • Dry immediately with a towel to prevent warping or cracking.

  • Avoid dishwashers, microwaves, and extreme heat.

 Cleaning & Sanitizing

  • Wipe with diluted vinegar or lemon + salt for natural deodorizing.

  • Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbers that damage wood and epoxy.

  • Do not submerge boards in water.

 Conditioning

  • Oil with food‑safe mineral oil or board butter whenever the wood looks dry or dull

  • Let oil absorb fully before storing or using.

 Usage Tips

  • Use the wood side for cutting to protect epoxy artwork.

  • Avoid sharp knives on epoxy to prevent scratching, Charcuterie boards are not cutting boards

  • Keep away from prolonged moisture, especially around seams.

 Storage

  • Store upright or flat in a dry area with airflow.

  • Avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading or drying.

  • Keep away from heat sources like stoves or radiators.
